La bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal (\u00abBirkat Cohanim\u00bb)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Es un precepto positivo de la Tor\u00e1 que los cohanim bendigan al pueblo de Israel, tal como est\u00e1 escrito (<em>Bamidbar<\/em> \u2013 N\u00fameros 6:22-27): \u00abY le dijo el Eterno a Mois\u00e9s: \u00abDile a Ahar\u00f3n y a sus hijos: &#8216;As\u00ed bendecir\u00e9is a los hijos de Israel, dici\u00e9ndoles: Que el Eterno te bendiga y te guarde. Que el Eterno haga resplandecer Su rostro sobre ti y te de Su merced. Que el Eterno alce Su faz sobre ti y te conceda la paz. Y pondr\u00e1n Mi Nombre sobre los hijos de Israel y Yo los bendecir\u00e9\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En la bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal aprendemos un hecho fundamental, y es que D\u00b4s es quien Nos bendice y por lo tanto el hecho de presenciarla a diario arraiga en nosotros esa convicci\u00f3n (<em>Mor\u00e9 Nevujim<\/em> III cap. 44, ver en <em>Jinuj<\/em> 378, <em>Haaked\u00e1<\/em> 74). Cuanto mayor sea nuestra conciencia del hecho de que el Santo Bendito Sea es quien bendice al pueblo de Israel con amor, m\u00e1s receptivos habremos de estar para recibir dicha bendici\u00f3n. El libre albedr\u00edo es el fundamento del mundo, y por ende la bendici\u00f3n que recibimos del Creador es proporcional a nuestro esfuerzo. En palabras de la Kabal\u00e1, \u00abEl despertar superior depende del despertar inferior\u00bb. Esto significa que al despertarse en nuestro seno el deseo de recibir Su bendici\u00f3n, se activa la Voluntad Superior de bendecir al pueblo de Israel. Mediante el cumplimiento del precepto de la bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal, el pueblo de Israel expresa su deseo de recibir la Bendici\u00f3n Celestial.<\/p>\n<p>En los d\u00edas del sagrado Templo, los cohanim recitaban la bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal al concluir la ofrenda de los sacrificios. La Tor\u00e1 nos describe el octavo d\u00eda posterior a la inauguraci\u00f3n del tabern\u00e1culo y aquel en el que los cohanim comenzaron a servir en este, de la siguiente manera: \u00abY alz\u00f3 Ahar\u00f3n sus manos hacia el pueblo y los bendijo, y descendi\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de ofrecer la ofrenda por el pecado, la ofrenda \u00edgnea que ascend\u00eda en su totalidad al Cielo (Ol\u00e1) y el sacrificio pac\u00edfico\u00bb (<em>Vaikr\u00e1<\/em>&#8211; Lev\u00edtico 9:22). De aqu\u00ed vemos que la bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal tuvo lugar al concluir los sacrificios. Esto se debe a que tras la ofrenda de los sacrificios que expresan nuestra disposici\u00f3n a anularnos y entregar nuestras vidas en pos de D\u00b4s, somos dignos de recibir Su bendici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los sabios establecieron que fuera del \u00e1rea del Templo la bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal fuese recitada durante el rezo, ya que este suplanta a los sacrificios.
