Tal como aprendimos (arriba 25:1), cuando un jud\u00edo realiza una labor en Shabat trasgrede una prohibici\u00f3n de la Tor\u00e1, y si le pide a un gentil que la realice trasgrede \u00fanicamente una prohibici\u00f3n rab\u00ednica. Del mismo modo, un ni\u00f1o que no lleg\u00f3 a\u00fan a la edad de cumplimiento de las mitzvot y realiza una labor en Shabat trasgrede \u00fanicamente una prohibici\u00f3n rab\u00ednica (arriba 24:1). Seg\u00fan esto, aparentemente cuando es necesario realizar una acci\u00f3n para salvar a un enfermo ser\u00eda preferible pedirle a un gentil o un ni\u00f1o que la realice, para que de esa manera se trasgreda una prohibici\u00f3n menos severa. Sin embargo, nuestros sabios nos ense\u00f1an que \u00abestas acciones no se realizan ni por medio de gentiles ni por medio de ni\u00f1os sino por medio de jud\u00edos adultos\u00bb (Talmud Babilonio Tratado de Yom\u00e1<\/em> 84(B), Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> 328:12). Esto implica que aunque un gentil o un ni\u00f1o se encuentren en las inmediaciones, no se les ha de pedir que realicen la labor en cuesti\u00f3n sino que la realizar\u00e1 un jud\u00edo adulto. Los sabios medievales (rishonim) explicaron que esto se debe a que se teme que un gentil o un ni\u00f1o puedan realizar la labor de modo negligente (Tosafot), y aunque sea claro que esto no ser\u00e1 as\u00ed, se teme que los presentes que contemplan la situaci\u00f3n caigan en el error de pensar que un jud\u00edo adulto no debe profanar el Shabat para salvar a un enfermo con riesgo de vida. Si en un futuro se volviera a presentar una situaci\u00f3n semejante podr\u00edan demorarse buscando un gentil o un ni\u00f1o y en el \u00ednterin el enfermo podr\u00eda fallecer (Ran).<\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, los sabios medievales escribieron que cuando en un lugar determinado se encuentran diferentes personas que pueden llevar a cabo la labor de salvataje, es preceptivo que la realicen las m\u00e1s encumbradas de entre ellas para que todos aprendan que salvar una vida antecede a la observancia del Shabat (\u00abpikuaj nefesh doj\u00e9 Shabat\u00bb) y que no es preceptivo buscar alternativas que aminoren la profanaci\u00f3n del d\u00eda sagrado.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, cuando la situaci\u00f3n no es urgente y f\u00e1cilmente se puede preparar todo para que durante el Shabat las labores necesarias sean realizadas por un gentil o un ni\u00f1o sin que por ello medie inconveniente alguno, si bien a priori se permite que un jud\u00edo adulto cubra las necesidades del enfermo, es mejor que un gentil o un ni\u00f1o lo hagan para de esa manera aminorar la intensidad de la profanaci\u00f3n (Shmirat Shabat Kehiljat\u00e1<\/em> 38:2). Empero, si existe la m\u00ednima sospecha que recurrir a un gentil o a un ni\u00f1o implique una demora presente o futura en el brindado de atenci\u00f3n, es mejor que un jud\u00edo adulto lo haga.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
