Incluso si no escuch\u00f3 la totalidad de la bendici\u00f3n sino \u00fanicamente su final \u2013 debe responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb (<em>Jai\u00e9 Adam<\/em>, <em>Mishn\u00e1 Berur\u00e1<\/em> 215:6). Y si no escuch\u00f3 el recitado, pero sabe de qu\u00e9 bendici\u00f3n se trata y entendi\u00f3 del movimiento de los labios de quien la recita que acaba de finalizarla &#8211; puede responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb mas no est\u00e1 obligado a hacerlo (<em>Beur Halaj\u00e1<\/em> all\u00ed, Ram\u00e1 124:8 y <em>Ben Ish Jai<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 prohibido responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb por una bendici\u00f3n recitada en vano (<em>Shulj\u00e1n A<\/em>ruj 215:4). Empero en el caso de quien escuch\u00f3 una bendici\u00f3n seg\u00fan la usanza de quien la recita, aunque el oyente no detente esa costumbre debe responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb, ya que quien bendijo lo hizo en concordancia con la norma seg\u00fan su costumbre. Por ejemplo, quien no acostumbra bendecir por el recitado del Halel en Rosh Jodesh debe responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb tras quien acostumbra a hacerlo.<\/p>\n<p>Quien escucha la bendici\u00f3n recitada por un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o que alcanz\u00f3 la edad en que se le debe ense\u00f1ar a recitarla, o sea, que el infante ya comprende su significado y sabe decirla correctamente \u2013 debe responder tras este \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb (<em>Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> 215:3). En general, los ni\u00f1os alcanzan este estatus a la edad de cinco o seis a\u00f1os. Si un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o que no alcanz\u00f3 esta edad recita una bendici\u00f3n \u2013 no se le responde \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb, empero se lo alaba por haber bendecido correctamente para de esa forma acostumbrarlo en la pr\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se le ense\u00f1a a un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o a bendecir se lo acostumbra a hacerlo incluyendo el Nombre de D\u00b4s sin que esto implique una bendici\u00f3n en vano ya que esto se hace en aras de educarlo. Empero no se responde \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb por una bendici\u00f3n destinada a practicar su recitado (<em>Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> 215:3).<\/p>\n<p>Quien escucha a un gentil recitar una bendici\u00f3n en una circunstancia apropiada, por ejemplo, antes o despu\u00e9s de comer \u2013 corresponde responder \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb, porque su intenci\u00f3n es alabar a D\u00b4s. En caso de que se sospeche que lo hace con intenciones id\u00f3latras, si bien dice la bendici\u00f3n habitualmente recitada por nosotros \u2013 no se responde \u00abAm\u00e9n\u00bb (<em>Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> y Ram\u00e1 215:2, <em>Mishn\u00e1 Berur\u00e1<\/em> 12).
