Asimismo, est\u00e1 permitido colocar un <em>timer<\/em> en el enchufe y conectarle un horno el\u00e9ctrico o un ventilador y programarlo para que se encienda y se apague a las horas deseadas.<\/p>\n<p>Si en medio del Shabat surge la necesidad de modificar los horarios de encendido o apagado, se puede seguir la opini\u00f3n de los juristas m\u00e1s flexibles que permiten prolongar la situaci\u00f3n existente pero no acortarla. O sea, cuando la luz est\u00e1 encendida se permite modificar el <em>timer<\/em> para mantenerla iluminando por m\u00e1s tiempo, pero no para que se apague antes. Cuando la luz est\u00e1 apagada se permite modificar el <em>timer<\/em> para que permanezca as\u00ed por m\u00e1s tiempo apagada, pero no para que se encienda antes. En caso de gran emergencia o apremio, de ser necesario para una persona enferma &#8211; se permite adelantar la acci\u00f3n de cambio, ya hacerlo es una acci\u00f3n que ingresa en la categor\u00eda de <em>grama<\/em> que en Shabat se permite \u00fanicamente en estas circunstancias (<em>Pninei Halaj\u00e1 Shabat<\/em> 17:6).<\/p>\n<p>Empero, en Yom Tov la norma es m\u00e1s leve en dos aspectos: 1) En Shabat est\u00e1 prohibido por la Tor\u00e1 encender fuego, mientras que en Yom Tov esta prohibici\u00f3n es de \u00edndole rab\u00ednica (arriba halaj\u00e1 1). 2) Seg\u00fan la opini\u00f3n mayoritaria de los juristas, la activaci\u00f3n en modo <em>grama<\/em> en Shabat est\u00e1 permitida s\u00f3lo en caso de gran necesidad o apremio, mientras que en Yom Tov se permite para toda necesidad. Por lo tanto, en caso de necesidad &#8211; se permite acortar el lapso de activaci\u00f3n del <em>timer<\/em>. Si la luz est\u00e1 encendida se permite adelantar el momento de su apagado y si est\u00e1 apagada se permite adelantar el de su encendido. Asimismo, se permite encender el horno en modo <em>grama<\/em>, esto es, encenderlo por medio de un <em>timer<\/em> que postergue su encendido en cinco o m\u00e1s minutos.
