Todas las prohibiciones rab\u00ednicas recaen sobre esta persona tal como lo hacen sobre alguien completamente sano, incluidas las prohibiciones rab\u00ednicas leves de segundo grado denominadas <em>shvut deshvut<\/em> que no se habr\u00e1n de realizar en su beneficio. No obstante, si la persona sufre, se realizan para ella acciones prohibidas del tipo de <em>shvut deshvut<\/em>, esto es, acciones prohibidas rab\u00ednicamente, que son ejecutadas por medio de un gentil o de un modo diferente al habitual. En estas leyes, Yom Tov se asemeja a Shabat (<em>Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> 307:5, <em>Mishn\u00e1 Berur\u00e1<\/em> 328:3, <em>Pninei Halaj\u00e1 Shabat<\/em> 9:11 y 28:3).<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la norma es diferente en lo referido a la ingesti\u00f3n de medicamentos, ya que la prohibici\u00f3n de tomar remedios o medicinas en Shabat depende de una discusi\u00f3n mencionada en el inciso anterior. Los sabios prohibieron tomar medicamentos en Shabat para evitar que estos fueran elaborados por medio del molido de sus ingredientes y que de esa manera se transgrediera la prohibici\u00f3n de moler (<em>toj\u00e9n<\/em>). Seg\u00fan la opini\u00f3n de los juristas m\u00e1s flexibles, dado que en Yom Tov se permite moler pimientos para la comida festiva, tambi\u00e9n se permite hacerlo para elaborar medicinas y por lo tanto est\u00e1 permitido ingerirlas. Seg\u00fan la opini\u00f3n de los juristas m\u00e1s estrictos, el permiso para realizar labores en Yom Tov aplica para personas sanas y no para enfermas ya que las necesidades de un enfermo no son comunes a las del resto de las personas (<em>ein\u00f3 shav\u00e9 lejol nefesh<\/em>). De acuerdo a esta opini\u00f3n, por lo tanto, estar\u00eda prohibido rab\u00ednicamente tomar medicinas, para evitar que se terminaran moliendo los ingredientes. De cualquier modo, dado que se trata de una prohibici\u00f3n rab\u00ednica, en caso de duda &#8211; se adopta la posici\u00f3n m\u00e1s flexible siendo esta la halaj\u00e1 final, y por lo tanto, se permite tomar medicamentos ilimitadamente en Yom Tov, tanto en forma de pastilla como en forma l\u00edquida.
