Seg\u00fan la opini\u00f3n de algunos de los sabios medievales o rishonim (Rab\u00ed Shimshon de Shantz, Or Zar\u00faa y Rashb\u00e1) si bien una bri\u00e1 no se anula en sesenta partes, s\u00ed lo hace en casi mil (960).<\/p>\n<p>Algunas de las eminencias de las \u00faltimas generaciones (<em>ajaronim<\/em>) escribieron que en caso de gran necesidad o apremio (<em>sheat hadjak<\/em>), se puede confiar en esa opini\u00f3n, empero en t\u00e9rminos generales se dictamin\u00f3 que una <em>bri\u00e1<\/em> no se anula ni siquiera en mil partes. Por lo tanto, en caso de que se vea que una mosca hubiere entrado a una olla enorme y no se logre encontrarla y retirarla -todo el alimento cocido quedar\u00e1 prohibido para su consumo. No obstante, en caso de que el potaje contenga caldo l\u00edmpido, se lo podr\u00e1 filtrar de modo tal que la mosca no pueda pasar el colador y el caldo filtrado se podr\u00e1 consumir. Otro tanto ocurre en caso de que el potaje contenga un trozo de carne o de papas, se los podr\u00e1 autorizar por medio de un enjuagado que retire a la mosca en la medida en que estuviere pegada a estos. Pero en el caso de una mezcla espesa cuyos trozos resulte dif\u00edcil de lavar o enjuagar \u2013estos quedar\u00e1n prohibidos (Shulj\u00e1n Aruj 100:2-3). De igual manera, si un <em>sheretz<\/em> peque\u00f1o se mezclase entre los granos de trigo, mientras no se lo encuentre, la mezcla resultar\u00e1 prohibida porque un ser vivo entero no se anula ni siquiera en mil partes.<\/p>\n<p>En caso de que una parte del <em>sheretz<\/em> resultase cortada, por ejemplo, una pata, o si resultase aplastado al grado de que su forma lleg\u00f3 a cambiar, tal como ocurre al cocinar, carece de la importancia de una <em>bri\u00e1<\/em> y por ende se anula en sesenta partes (Shulj\u00e1n Aruj 100:1).
