Esta prohibici\u00f3n se menciona en la Tor\u00e1 tres veces (Shemot-\u00c9xodo 23:19, 34:26, Devarim-Deuteronomio 14:21), lo cual nos ense\u00f1a que la prohibici\u00f3n incluye tres partes: 1) Est\u00e1 prohibido cocinarlos juntos. 2) Si fueron cocinados juntos est\u00e1 prohibido ingerirlos. 3) Si fueron cocinados juntos est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n prohibido obtener beneficio de ellos (Tratado de Jul\u00edn 115(B), Shulj\u00e1n Aruj Yor\u00e9 De\u00e1 87(A)).<\/p>\n<p>Esta prohibici\u00f3n es singular y diferente del resto de las prohibiciones diet\u00e9ticas de la Tor\u00e1 ya que todos los alimentos prohibidos lo est\u00e1n siempre, al tiempo que la carne en s\u00ed es kasher, otro tanto ocurre con la leche, y si son cocidos juntos est\u00e1n vedados por medio de una prohibici\u00f3n particularmente grave. Se\u00f1al de ello es que todos los dem\u00e1s alimentos prohibidos, por ejemplo, la carne de los animales o las aves impuras, pueden ser cocinadas por un jud\u00edo para un gentil al tiempo que en el caso de la carne con leche ello est\u00e1 vedado. E incluso se proh\u00edbe el participar o ayudar en la cocci\u00f3n, por ejemplo, aumentando la intensidad del fuego con el que se est\u00e1n cociendo.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 prohibido obtener cualquier beneficio de carne y leche que fueron cocinados juntos, por lo tanto, est\u00e1 prohibido vend\u00e9rselo a un gentil e incluso entreg\u00e1rselo gratuitamente a modo de presente, dado que el jud\u00edo obtiene de ello un beneficio (una suerte de disfrute). Incluso si un jud\u00edo quema el alimento vedado, tendr\u00e1 prohibido disfrutar del calor o de las cenizas producidas. Se proh\u00edbe incluso darlo como alimento a animales que carecen de propietario por cuanto que al jud\u00edo en cuesti\u00f3n ello le da satisfacci\u00f3n. El alimento prohibido debe ser enterrado, y en caso de que ello resulte dificultoso puede ser arrojado al campo o botado a la basura. Y aunque resulte que a ra\u00edz de ello distintos animales terminen comi\u00e9ndolo, ello no est\u00e1 prohibido por cuanto que el jud\u00edo no tuvo la intenci\u00f3n de que ello ocurriera.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con la Tor\u00e1, lo que est\u00e1 vedado es cocinar carne con leche, y en caso de que no hubiere cocci\u00f3n, no se incurrir\u00e1 en prohibici\u00f3n alguna. Por lo tanto, se permite mezclar carne con leche sin que medie cocci\u00f3n si es que un gentil lo necesita o en caso de cualquier otra necesidad. Sin embargo, los sabios establecieron un cerco alrededor de los preceptos de la Tor\u00e1 y prohibieron que un jud\u00edo coma carne con leche, aunque no se los haya cocido juntos (Shulj\u00e1n Aruj Yor\u00e9 De\u00e1 87:1, 91:8), y lo reforzaron por medio de numerosas prohibiciones, por ejemplo, ingerir uno de estos si el otro se encuentra sobre la mesa (ver adelante halaj\u00e1 3), hornear un pan c\u00e1rnico o l\u00e1cteo, no vaya a ocurrir que por error sea ingerido con un alimento del otro tipo (ver adelante halaj\u00e1 4). E incluso agregaron la prohibici\u00f3n de no ingerir leche tras haber comido carne a menos de que medie una separaci\u00f3n significativa, y la de comer carne tras haber ingerido leche a menos de que medie un enjuague o aseo bucal (tal como se ver\u00e1 en el siguiente cap\u00edtulo).
