De todos vuestros errores, ante HaShem habr\u00e9is de purificaros\u00bb, es preceptivo en este d\u00eda retornar en teshuv\u00e1 y confesar ante Hashem sus pecados (Ramb\u00e1m <em>Hiljot Teshuv\u00e1<\/em> 2:7).<\/p>\n<p>La confesi\u00f3n verbal expl\u00edcita culmina la teshuv\u00e1, ya que la esencia de nuestra labor en este mundo pasa por llevar a la pr\u00e1ctica las buenas intenciones que se ocultan en el pensamiento y en el coraz\u00f3n. Mediante la confesi\u00f3n verbal expl\u00edcita, los pensamientos y los sentimientos que acompa\u00f1an el proceso del retorno cobran forma, se elaboran y elucidan, el arrepentimiento se hace profundo y tajante al punto que el trasgresor refuerza su decisi\u00f3n de no volver a pecar. Por lo tanto, la Tor\u00e1 orden\u00f3 (Bamidbar-N\u00fameros 5:6-7): \u00abDiles a los hijos de Israel, cuando un hombre o una mujer cometa cualquier pecado contra su pr\u00f3jimo obrando enga\u00f1osamente contra el Eterno, confesar\u00e1 su pecado\u2026\u00bb, adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n escrito (Vaikr\u00e1 5:5): \u00aby cuando confesare el pecado realizado\u00bb. As\u00ed como quien ofrenda un sacrificio de \u00abJat\u00e1t\u00bb debe primeramente confesarse, quien retorna debe confesar sus inconductas y mediante ello su teshuv\u00e1 culmina (Ramb\u00e1m Teshuv\u00e1 1:1).<\/p>\n<p>Si una persona pec\u00f3 por negligencia o descuido durante todo el a\u00f1o debe decir ante Hashem \u00abjatati\u00bb, si pec\u00f3 intencionalmente debe decir \u00abaviti\u00bb y si pec\u00f3 por rebeld\u00eda debe decir \u00abpashati\u00bb. De esta manera la persona cumple el deber de la confesi\u00f3n si bien no detall\u00f3 su mala acci\u00f3n, y en algunas ocasiones es hasta mejor no hacerlo (<em>Shulj\u00e1n Aruj<\/em> 607:2, <em>Mishn\u00e1 Berur\u00e1<\/em> 5, <em>Sha\u00b4ar Hatzi\u00fan<\/em> 11.
