A l\u2019\u00e9poque des Richonim (Moyen Age), cet usage \u00e9tait surtout adopt\u00e9 dans le monde ashk\u00e9naze. A l\u2019\u00e9poque des A\u2019haronim, il s\u2019est surtout observ\u00e9 dans le monde s\u00e9farade. Nombreux sont ceux, parmi les grands ma\u00eetres du juda\u00efsme, qui ont d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 cet usage et tent\u00e9 de le faire dispara\u00eetre. En effet, cet usage repose sur une contradiction\u00a0: d\u00e8s lors que l\u2019on dit Min\u2019ha apr\u00e8s le <em>plag hamin\u2019ha<\/em> comme le permettent les \u2018Hakhamim, il est impossible de r\u00e9citer, durant la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, la pri\u00e8re d\u2019Arvit, comme le permet Rabbi Yehouda. Il convient donc de fixer un cours de Torah entre Min\u2019ha et Arvit\u00a0; de cette fa\u00e7on, on a le m\u00e9rite d\u2019ajouter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de la Torah et, dans le m\u00eame temps, on maintient l\u2019office d\u2019Arvit dans son horaire.<\/p>\n<p>Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, les A\u2019haronim ont donn\u00e9 pour instruction que, lorsque l\u2019attente de l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles est susceptible d\u2019entra\u00eener la dispersion des fid\u00e8les et l\u2019annulation de l\u2019office d\u2019Arvit, on peut \u00eatre indulgent et permettre de dire Arvit imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s Min\u2019ha. Bien entendu, il revient \u00e0 chaque fid\u00e8le de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter le Ch\u00e9ma apr\u00e8s l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles<sup><a href='#_te01ftn25_6' id='_te01ftnref25_6' class='aup1'>[6]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Quand un particulier a l\u2019habitude de toujours prier selon l\u2019horaire des \u2018Hakhamim, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire de dire Arvit apr\u00e8s l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles, mais se trouve occasionnellement \u00e0 un endroit o\u00f9 l\u2019on prie selon l\u2019usage admis en \u00ab\u00a0cas de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 imp\u00e9rieuse\u00a0\u00bb (Min\u2019ha et Arvit encha\u00een\u00e9s avant la tomb\u00e9e de la nuit), les avis sont partag\u00e9s. Selon certains, il vaut mieux que le particulier prie avec cette communaut\u00e9, afin de prier en minyan. Selon d\u2019autres, il fera mieux de pr\u00e9server sa coutume, en disant Min\u2019ha avec cette communaut\u00e9, mais en r\u00e9citant seul Arvit, apr\u00e8s l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles<sup><a href='#_te01ftn25_7' id='_te01ftnref25_7' class='aup1'>[7]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<div>\n<a href='#_te01ftnref25_6' id='_te01ftn25_6'>[6]<\/a>. <em>Tossephot <\/em>sur <em>Berakhot <\/em>2a, le Roch, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de Rabb\u00e9nou Yona et d\u2019autres Richonim expriment une objection \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de l\u2019usage consistant \u00e0 dire Arvit avant le coucher du soleil, car cela revient \u00e0 utiliser \u00ab\u00a0deux indulgences qui se contredisent l\u2019une l\u2019autre\u00a0\u00bb. En pratique, pour tenir compte du besoin de certaines communaut\u00e9s, on a fini par \u00eatre plus indulgent, comme le rapportent le <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 233, 11, le <em>Kaf Ha\u2019ha\u00efm<\/em> 12 et le <em>Yalqout Yossef<\/em> III 235, 1. Tout le monde s\u2019accorde cependant \u00e0 exiger que le Ch\u00e9ma soit r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 apr\u00e8s l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles.<\/p>\n<p>On distingue deux opinions principales sur l\u2019attitude \u00e0 adopter quand on se trouve dans un endroit o\u00f9 l\u2019on r\u00e9cite Arvit avant <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>. Selon Ma\u00efmonide, on dit avec la communaut\u00e9 le Ch\u00e9ma et ses b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions, et l\u2019on juxtapose la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de la D\u00e9livrance (<em>Gaal Isra\u00ebl<\/em>) avec la \u2018Amida\u00a0; puis, apr\u00e8s l\u2019apparition des \u00e9toiles, on r\u00e9p\u00e8te le Ch\u00e9ma en tant qu\u2019accomplissement de la mitsva en son temps. C\u2019est en ce sens que tranche le <em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 235, 1. Selon Rabbi Ha\u00ef Gaon, on dira avec la communaut\u00e9 le Ch\u00e9ma seul (sans ses b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions), afin que le Ch\u00e9ma serve d\u2019introduction \u00e0 la \u2018Amida que l\u2019on r\u00e9citera \u00e9galement au sein de l\u2019assembl\u00e9e\u00a0; mais les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions du Ch\u00e9ma, ainsi que le Ch\u00e9ma lui-m\u00eame en tant que mitsva, on les r\u00e9citera apr\u00e8s <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>. Il semble donc que, selon Rabbi Ha\u00ef Gaon, il vaille mieux r\u00e9citer les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions du Ch\u00e9ma avec le Ch\u00e9ma lui-m\u00eame apr\u00e8s <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>, bien que, de ce fait, on ne puisse juxtaposer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de la D\u00e9livrance et la \u2018Amida. L\u2019auteur du <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 235, 12 rapporte cet usage, auquel il se conformait lui-m\u00eame (cf. <em>Igrot Moch\u00e9<\/em>, <em>Ora\u2019h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> 2, 60, <em>Pisq\u00e9 Techouva<\/em> 235, 3). Selon le Gaon de Vilna, dans tous les cas, il vaut mieux dire Arvit seul apr\u00e8s <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l\u2019avis des \u2018Hakhamim, que de prier en communaut\u00e9 avant <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em> comme l\u2019enseigne Rabbi Yehouda.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un endroit o\u00f9 l\u2019on encha\u00eene Min\u2019ha et Arvit, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable, si l\u2019on peut, de veiller \u00e0 dire Min\u2019ha avant le coucher du soleil, et Arvit apr\u00e8s. En effet, certains pensent que <strong>le temps d\u2019Arvit commence au coucher du soleil<\/strong>\u00a0; et c\u2019est ainsi que le <em>Or l\u00e9-Tsion<\/em> II 15, 6 comprend la position du <em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh<\/em>. Toutefois, quant \u00e0 l\u2019heure de r\u00e9citation du Ch\u00e9ma, il est clair qu\u2019elle commence \u00e0 <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>. Cependant, selon la majorit\u00e9 des d\u00e9cisionnaires, tels que le <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 233, 9, l\u2019heure d\u2019Arvit m\u00eame commence, selon les \u2018Hakhamim, \u00e0 <em>tset hakokhavim<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href='#_te01ftnref25_7' id='_te01ftn25_7'>[7]<\/a>. Des propos du <em>Kaf Ha\u2019ha\u00efm<\/em> 233, 12, il ressort que son auteur adopte la premi\u00e8re opinion\u00a0; et l\u2019on doit r\u00e9p\u00e9ter les trois paragraphes du Ch\u00e9ma apr\u00e8s la tomb\u00e9e de la nuit. Tandis que, des propos du <em>Chaar Hatsioun <\/em>235, 16, il ressort que son auteur adopte la seconde opinion\u00a0; cf. <em>Pisq\u00e9 Techouva<\/em> 235, 3.
