Mais m\u00eame imm\u00e9diatement <em>derri\u00e8re<\/em> son rabbin, on ne priera point\u00a0; en effet, s\u2019il terminait sa \u2018Amida avant son disciple, le rabbin serait contrari\u00e9 de ne pouvoir imm\u00e9diatement reculer de trois pas (comme c\u2019est l\u2019usage \u00e0 la fin de la \u2018Amida)\u00a0; de plus, le disciple risquerait de para\u00eetre se prosterner devant son ma\u00eetre (<em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 90, 24\u00a0; <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 74).<\/p>\n<p>Qui est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le rabbin attitr\u00e9 d\u2019un fid\u00e8le\u00a0? Celui qui lui a enseign\u00e9 la majorit\u00e9 de ses connaissances en Torah (<em>rov \u2018hokhmato<\/em>, litt\u00e9ralement la majorit\u00e9 de sa sagesse) <sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-500-2' id='fnref-500-2' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(500)'>2<\/a><\/sup>. La r\u00e8gle s\u2019applique aussi s\u2019il s\u2019agit de l\u2019un des plus grands sages de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration (consid\u00e9r\u00e9 donc comme le ma\u00eetre attitr\u00e9 de toute sa g\u00e9n\u00e9ration).<\/p>\n<p>En revanche, si l\u2019on s\u2019est \u00e9loign\u00e9 de quatre <em>amot <\/em>(environ deux m\u00e8tres), il devient permis de prier \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de son ma\u00eetre. Mais si l\u2019on prie derri\u00e8re son ma\u00eetre, il faut s\u2019\u00e9loigner de deux m\u00e8tres augment\u00e9s de trois pas (environ 60 cm) afin que, m\u00eame si le disciple prolonge sa \u2018Amida plus longtemps que son rabbin, celui-ci puisse reculer de trois pas<a href=\"https:\/\/ph.yhb.org.il\/fr\/wp-admin\/post-new.php#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Certains auteurs pensent que tout cela s\u2019entend lorsque ma\u00eetre et disciple prient individuellement (sans minyan), ou quand, au sein d\u2019un minyan, le disciple a lui-m\u00eame choisi de prier pr\u00e8s de son Rav. Mais si les responsables de la communaut\u00e9 (<em>gaba\u00efm<\/em>) ont eux-m\u00eames fix\u00e9 la place du disciple pr\u00e8s de celle du rabbin, ou s\u2019il s\u2019agit de la seule place rest\u00e9e vacante dans la synagogue, il est permis d\u2019y prier, disent-ils, et il n\u2019y a l\u00e0 aucune marque de pr\u00e9somption de la part du disciple. En cas de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pressante, on pourra s\u2019appuyer sur cette opinion, mais il faut a priori s\u2019efforcer de ne pas fixer sa place \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de son rabbin<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-500-3' id='fnref-500-3' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(500)'>3<\/a><\/sup>. C\u2019est aussi l\u2019opinion du Rama, semble-t-il, lequel renvoie \u00e0 ce qui est dit en <em>Yor\u00e9 D\u00e9\u2019a<\/em>. Aussi, il semble que, lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019est agi de statuer en pratique, l\u2019auteur du <em>Choul\u2019han Aroukh<\/em> soit revenu sur la position qu\u2019il avait soutenue dans le <em>Beit Yossef<\/em>. Cependant, le <em>Kaf Ha\u2019ha\u00efm<\/em> \u00e9crit, pour sa part, qu\u2019il y a lieu d\u2019\u00eatre rigoureux quand la chose est possible.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e8gle r\u00e9gissant le p\u00e8re est semblable \u00e0 celle qui s\u2019applique au ma\u00eetre attitr\u00e9, comme le rapporte le <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 73 au nom du <em>\u2018Hay\u00e9 Adam<\/em>. Toutefois, un p\u00e8re est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement heureux de voir la place de ses fils fix\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de lui. Aussi, pour autant que l\u2019on sache que le p\u00e8re souhaite voir son fils s\u2019asseoir \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, cela est permis, et m\u00eame prescrit\u00a0; car si un p\u00e8re est conciliant sur l\u2019honneur qui lui est d\u00fb, on n\u2019est pas rigoureux \u00e0 sa place. Simplement, le fils ne priera pas derri\u00e8re ou devant son p\u00e8re [mais \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9], \u00e0 moins que le p\u00e8re ne lui ait dit explicitement qu\u2019il pouvait prier ainsi.].<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> <\/li>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li> <\/li>\n<li>\n<div class='footnotes' id='footnotes-500'>\n<div class='footnotedivider'><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li id='fn-500-1'><em>Rav<\/em>: ma\u00eetre, rabbin. <span class='footnotereverse'><a href='#fnref-500-1'>&#8617;<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li id='fn-500-2'>Le Rav ou rabbin attitr\u00e9 est celui dont on tire <em>la majorit\u00e9 de sa sagesse\u00a0<\/em>; il ressort de ce qu\u2019\u00e9crit Ma\u00efmonide que le terme \u00ab\u00a0sagesse\u00a0\u00bb (<em>\u2018Hokhma<\/em>) vise ici la majorit\u00e9 des connaissances accumul\u00e9es par le disciple en mati\u00e8re de Torah. Le Mahariq explique que le Rav attitr\u00e9 est celui qui a \u00e9tabli le disciple sur la voie de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de la droiture, et lui a enseign\u00e9 la fa\u00e7on de trancher la halakha. Le <em>Chakh <\/em>(<em>Yor\u00e9 D\u00e9\u2019a<\/em> 242, 12) explique qu\u2019un m\u00eame homme peut avoir plusieurs ma\u00eetres attitr\u00e9s, selon les diff\u00e9rents domaines de la Torah, tels que la Torah \u00e9crite (<em>Miqra<\/em>), le Talmud (<em>Gu\u00e9mara<\/em>), la partie narrative de la Torah orale (<em>Aggada<\/em>). Le <em>Chakh<\/em> tire cet enseignement de l\u2019opinion du Rivach et du <em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh<\/em>. Dans le m\u00eame sens, le \u2018<em>Aroukh Hachoul\u2019han<\/em> \u00e9crit que l\u2019on peut avoir plusieurs ma\u00eetres attitr\u00e9s dans le domaine m\u00eame du Talmud\u00a0: l\u2019un qui nous enseigne la ma\u00eetrise du Talmud dans son texte m\u00eame (<em>b\u00e9qiout<\/em>), l\u2019autre qui nous ouvre \u00e0 l\u2019approfondissement du texte et au d\u00e9bat contradictoire (<em>\u2018harifout<\/em>), le troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude en vue de la fixation pratique de la loi (<em>aliba de-hilkheta<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Le recueil de responsa <em>Divr\u00e9 Malkiel<\/em> explique que la distinction faite entre un rabbin attitr\u00e9, duquel on a appris la majorit\u00e9 de sa sagesse, et un autre rabbin, s\u2019entend uniquement lorsque l\u2019on n\u2019\u00e9tudie pas actuellement de sa bouche\u00a0; mais si l\u2019on \u00e9tudie de la bouche d\u2019un ma\u00eetre, celui-ci est consid\u00e9r\u00e9, tout au long de cette p\u00e9riode, comme rabbin attitr\u00e9. D\u2019apr\u00e8s cela, le <em>Roch y\u00e9chiva<\/em> (directeur de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie talmudique o\u00f9 l\u2019on \u00e9tudie) et le professeur qui enseigne la Torah \u00e0 son \u00e9l\u00e8ve sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s l\u2019un et l\u2019autre comme ma\u00eetres attitr\u00e9s (cf. Rama, <em>Yor\u00e9 D\u00e9\u2019a<\/em> 242, 6). De la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on, le<em> \u2018Aroukh Hachoul\u2019han<\/em> pr\u00e9cise qu\u2019un rabbin qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 rabbin d\u2019une ville ou d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 pour y enseigner et y juger est consid\u00e9r\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des gens de l\u2019endroit, comme leur rabbin attitr\u00e9. <span class='footnotereverse'><a href='#fnref-500-2'>&#8617;<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li id='fn-500-3'>Le Rama 90, 24 mentionne l\u2019opinion suivant laquelle, si les places sont fixes, la chose est permise. C\u2019est l\u00e0 l\u2019opinion du <em>Baal Ham\u00e9orot<\/em> et du <em>Ohel Moed<\/em>. En pratique, le Rama \u00e9crit qu\u2019il est bon d\u2019\u00eatre rigoureux et de ne pas prier imm\u00e9diatement derri\u00e8re son Rav afin de ne pas le g\u00eaner\u00a0; cependant l\u2019usage est d\u2019\u00eatre indulgent, comme l\u2019\u00e9crit le <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> Toutefois, dans le <em>B\u00e9our Halakha<\/em>, le m\u00eame auteur cite l\u2019opinion du <em>Elya Rabba<\/em>, elle-m\u00eame fond\u00e9e sur le <em>Levouch<\/em>, et selon laquelle il est souhaitable d\u2019\u00eatre rigoureux. Le <em>Beit Yossef<\/em> \u00e9crit qu\u2019en pratique il y a lieu d\u2019\u00eatre attentif \u00e0 cela, m\u00eame en communaut\u00e9 (\u00e0 des places fix\u00e9es)\u00a0; c\u2019est pourquoi le m\u00eame auteur ne mentionne pas l\u2019opinion indulgente lorsqu\u2019il statue dans le <em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh\u00a0<\/em>; c\u2019est aussi ce qu\u2019\u00e9crit le <em>Kaf Ha\u2019ha\u00efm<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Dans le cas o\u00f9 son Rav est derri\u00e8re soi, le <em>Beit Yossef<\/em> \u00e9crit (<em>Ora\u2019h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> 90, 24) qu\u2019il y a lieu d\u2019\u00eatre rigoureux, m\u00eame \u00e0 une distance de plus de quatre <em>amot<\/em> car, m\u00eame de cette fa\u00e7on, il y a une attitude de pr\u00e9somption \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de son ma\u00eetre.
