{"id":5005,"date":"2001-01-05T00:05:34","date_gmt":"2001-01-04T22:05:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ph.yhb.org.il\/fr\/?p=5005"},"modified":"2021-08-23T21:16:53","modified_gmt":"2021-08-23T18:16:53","slug":"13-05-05","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ph.yhb.org.il\/fr\/13-05-05\/","title":{"rendered":"05.\u00c0 quels moments on proc\u00e8de aux balancements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En plus des balancements (<em>na\u2019anou\u2019im<\/em>) qui suivent imm\u00e9diatement la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction du <em>loulav<\/em>, les sages ont prescrit de tenir en main celui-ci pendant la r\u00e9citation du Hallel, et d\u2019y imprimer des <em>na\u2019anou\u2019im<\/em> aux moments o\u00f9 se disent les versets\u00a0: <em>Hodou Lachem ki tov, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0Louez l\u2019\u00c9ternel car Il est bon, car sa gr\u00e2ce est perp\u00e9tuelle\u00a0\u00bb) et <em>Anna Hachem, hochi\u2019a na<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0De gr\u00e2ce, \u00c9ternel, secours-nous, de gr\u00e2ce \u00bb) (<em>Souka <\/em>37b). Les sages appuient leur prescription sur le verset\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Alors, les arbres de la for\u00eat chanteront\u2026 \u201cLouez l\u2019\u00c9ternel car Il est bon, car sa gr\u00e2ce est perp\u00e9tuelle\u201d\u00a0; et dites\u00a0: \u201cSecours-nous, Dieu de notre salut, rassemble-nous et sauve-nous des peuples, afin que nous rendions hommage \u00e0 ton saint nom et c\u00e9l\u00e9brions tes louanges\u00a0\u00bb (I Ch 16, 33-35). La fa\u00e7on qu\u2019ont les arbres de \u00ab\u00a0chanter\u00a0\u00bb, c\u2019est de remuer\u00a0; et quand chantent-ils\u00a0? au moment o\u00f9 l\u2019on r\u00e9cite \u00ab\u00a0Louez\u2026\u00a0\u00bb et o\u00f9 l\u2019on r\u00e9cite \u00ab\u00a0Secours-nous\u2026\u00a0\u00bb Nous apprenons par-l\u00e0 une signification suppl\u00e9mentaire du balancement du <em>loulav<\/em>\u00a0: il exprime une pri\u00e8re pour le rassemblement des exil\u00e9s des quatre coins de la terre.<\/p>\n<p>Puisque, \u00e0 Soukot, on est jug\u00e9 quant \u00e0 l\u2019octroi de la pluie, le balancement des quatre esp\u00e8ces, qui ont pouss\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce aux pluies de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, est une expression de reconnaissance pour la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e, et une pri\u00e8re pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e qui commence, afin que, du ciel, de la terre et des quatre points cardinaux, nous viennent des pluies et des ros\u00e9es bienfaisantes, et non des pluies ou des ros\u00e9es mauvaises, ni des vents mauvais.<\/p>\n<p>Nous venons de dire que l\u2019on balance le <em>loulav<\/em> pendant les versets <em>Hodou Lachem ki tov, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em> et <em>Anna Hachem Hochi\u2019a na<\/em>. Or l\u2019usage est de partager les mouvements selon les mots, et, quand on prononce le nom divin, de s\u2019arr\u00eater pour m\u00e9diter sur la saintet\u00e9 du nom. De sorte que, lors du verset <em>Hodou<\/em>, qui comprend six mots en dehors du nom divin, on imprimera au <em>loulav<\/em> un mouvement \u00e0 chaque mot, chaque fois en une autre direction. Quant au verset <em>Anna<\/em>, qui ne comprend que trois mots en dehors du nom divin, on balance le <em>loulav <\/em>en deux directions successives \u00e0 chaque mot (<em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 651, 37)<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref5_d\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn5_d\">[d]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les kabbalistes, on fait cinq balancements\u00a0: le premier, apr\u00e8s la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction du <em>loulav<\/em> elle-m\u00eame\u00a0; le deuxi\u00e8me lors du premier <em>Hodou<\/em> du Hallel\u00a0; le troisi\u00e8me sur <em>Anna Hachem hochi\u2019a na<\/em>\u00a0; le quatri\u00e8me lors de la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition d\u2019<em>Anna Hachem hochi\u2019a na<\/em>\u00a0; le cinqui\u00e8me lors du <em>Hodou<\/em> par lequel s\u2019ach\u00e8ve le Hallel. Il n\u2019y a pas de diff\u00e9rence \u00e0 faire, \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, entre l\u2019officiant et l\u2019assembl\u00e9e. Tel est l\u2019usage des S\u00e9farades et d\u2019une partie des Hassidim. Quant \u00e0 l\u2019usage y\u00e9m\u00e9nite, il consiste en quatre balancements, parce qu\u2019on ne r\u00e9p\u00e8te pas le verset <em>Anna Hachem, hochi\u2019a na<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Suivant la coutume ashk\u00e9naze, les fid\u00e8les balancent leur <em>loulav<\/em> neuf fois, et l\u2019officiant sept fois. Cela, parce que, dans cette tradition, il est d\u2019usage d\u2019agiter le <em>loulav<\/em> chaque fois que l\u2019on dit, dans le Hallel, <em>Hodou Lachem<\/em>\u2026 De cette fa\u00e7on, quatre balancements s\u2019ajoutent \u00e0 ceux des fid\u00e8les, et deux \u00e0 ceux de l\u2019officiant. La diff\u00e9rence entre officiant et fid\u00e8les tient \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re de r\u00e9citer, dans la tradition ashk\u00e9naze, les quatre versets suivants\u00a0: a) <em>Hodou Lachem ki tov, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em>\u00a0; b) <em>Yomar na Isra\u00ebl, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0Qu\u2019ainsi dise Isra\u00ebl, car sa gr\u00e2ce est perp\u00e9tuelle\u00a0\u00bb)\u00a0; c) <em>Yomerou na veit Aharon, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0Qu\u2019ainsi dise la maison d\u2019Aaron, car sa gr\u00e2ce est perp\u00e9tuelle\u00a0\u00bb)\u00a0; d) <em>Yomerou na yir\u00e9 Hachem, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0Qu\u2019ainsi disent ceux qui craignent l\u2019\u00c9ternel, car sa gr\u00e2ce est perp\u00e9tuelle\u00a0\u00bb). Suivant la coutume ashk\u00e9naze, \u00e0 chacun des quatre versets, l\u2019assembl\u00e9e r\u00e9pond\u00a0: <em>Hodou Lachem ki tov, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo<\/em>. De sorte que les fid\u00e8les agitent leurs <em>loulavim<\/em> \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de chacun de ces quatre versets. Mais l\u2019officiant, lui, ne balance son <em>loulav<\/em> que pour les deux premiers versets\u00a0: pour le premier, parce qu\u2019il s\u2019agit pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment de <em>Hodou Lachem ki tov, ki l\u00e9\u2019olam \u2018hasdo\u00a0<\/em>; pour le deuxi\u00e8me, parce que, dans ce verset, l\u2019officiant appelle tout Isra\u00ebl \u00e0 louer l\u2019\u00c9ternel, ce par quoi il est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9ponse, <em>Hodou\u2026<\/em>, que font ensuite les fid\u00e8les. Tandis que, pour les deux derniers versets, puisqu\u2019il invite \u00ab\u00a0la maison d\u2019Aaron\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0ceux qui craignent l\u2019\u00c9ternel\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 louer l\u2019\u00c9ternel, l\u2019officiant n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessairement inclus parmi eux\u00a0; il n\u2019y fait donc pas de balancement (<em>Choul\u2019han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> et Rama 651, 8). Un autre balancement s\u2019ajoute \u00e0 ceux-l\u00e0, suivant la coutume ashk\u00e9naze, \u00e0 la fin du Hallel\u00a0: puisqu\u2019on y r\u00e9cite par deux fois le verset <em>Hodou<\/em>, on fait deux balancements du <em>loulav<\/em>. Nous l\u2019avons vu, selon la coutume kabbalistique, on ne fait \u00e0 ce moment qu\u2019un balancement<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref5_3\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn5_3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<div>\n<p><a id=\"_te01ftn5_d\" href=\"#_te01ftnref5_d\">[d]<\/a>. Note du relecteur\u00a0: selon l\u2019usage s\u00e9farade, on proc\u00e8de selon les syllabes, qui sont au nombre de six, en dehors du nom divin. On balance donc le <em>loulav<\/em> \u00e0 chacune de ces syllabes, chaque fois en une autre direction. Sur la syllabe <em>A<\/em>, vers le sud\u00a0; <em>na\u00a0<\/em>: vers le nord\u00a0; on reste immobile en pronon\u00e7ant le nom divin\u00a0; <em>ho<\/em>\u00a0: vers l\u2019est\u00a0; <em>chi<\/em>\u00a0: en restant tourn\u00e9 vers l\u2019est, on balance le <em>loulav <\/em>vers le haut\u00a0; <em>\u2018a<\/em>\u00a0: vers le bas (mais sans retourner le <em>loulav<\/em>, qui doit rester pointe en l\u2019air)\u00a0; <em>na<\/em>\u00a0: vers\u00a0l\u2019ouest (Rav Mordekha\u00ef Elyahou, <em>Hilkhot \u2018Haguim<\/em> 53, 31, parmi de nombreuses autres sources).<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"_te01ftn5_3\" href=\"#_te01ftnref5_3\">[3]<\/a>. Dans certaines communaut\u00e9s ashk\u00e9nazes, il est d\u2019usage que l\u2019officiant, lui aussi, agite le <em>loulav<\/em> lors de la r\u00e9citation des deux derniers versets (<em>Yomerou na veit Aharon\u2026 <\/em>et <em>Yomerou na yir\u00e9 Hachem\u2026<\/em>), \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du balancement fait par les fid\u00e8les (comme le rapportent les tossaphistes en <em>Souka<\/em> 37b, \u05d3\u00a0\u00bb\u05d4 \u05d1\u05d4\u05d5\u05d3\u05d5). Le <em>Bikour\u00e9 Ya\u2019aqov<\/em> 651, 32 \u00e9crit qu\u2019il n\u2019y a pas lieu d\u2019annuler la coutume de ces communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Suivant la coutume s\u00e9farade, les fid\u00e8les r\u00e9p\u00e8tent chacun des quatre versets, de sorte qu\u2019il n\u2019y a, dans ce passage, qu\u2019une occurrence de <em>Hodou<\/em>.
