Dans cette cat\u00e9gorie, figurent les pruneaux cuits avec la viande, les raisins secs accompagnant le riz, le mets cuit appel\u00e9 <em>tzimmes<\/em>, o\u00f9 se m\u00ealent pruneaux et abricots, la salade de carottes et la salade Waldorf que l\u2019on sert avec des plats destin\u00e9s \u00e0 rassasier. Mais si l\u2019on sert une salade de carottes sucr\u00e9e ou une salade Waldorf en fin de repas, comme dessert, on devra r\u00e9citer sur elles la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction introductive. De m\u00eame pour une compote \u2013 c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire des fruits cuits au sucre<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref3_13\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn3_13\">[13]<\/a><\/sup> \u2013 que l\u2019on sert \u00e0 la fin du repas\u00a0: on r\u00e9citera la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction introductive.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019on sert du pamplemousse ou du melon au d\u00e9but du repas, il faut r\u00e9citer sur eux la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction introductive, car ils forment une sorte de \u00ab\u00a0dessert\u00a0\u00bb, servi au d\u00e9but du repas afin d\u2019ouvrir celui-ci sur un go\u00fbt flatteur\u00a0; cela ne fait pas vraiment partie du repas. Mais les aliments servis au d\u00e9but du repas dans le but d\u2019\u00e9veiller l\u2019app\u00e9tit, comme les variantes (l\u00e9gumes mac\u00e9r\u00e9s dans du vinaigre), font partie int\u00e9grante du repas, et la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>Hamotsi<\/em> les couvre.<\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019on a pour intention de donner \u00e0 un plat constitu\u00e9 de fruits \u2013 par exemple du raisin \u2013 la fonction de procurer la sati\u00e9t\u00e9, ces fruits restent, tant qu\u2019ils sont consomm\u00e9s avec du pain, annexes \u00e0 celui-ci, et la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>Hamotsi <\/em>les inclut. Mais si l\u2019on a l\u2019intention de manger \u00e9galement du raisin seul, non accompagn\u00e9 de pain, un doute appara\u00eet\u00a0: doit-on en r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction\u00a0? Si l\u2019on a pour intention que les fruits (ou quelque autre aliment) habituellement consomm\u00e9s comme dessert soient le seul aliment qui accompagne le pain afin de conduire \u00e0 la sati\u00e9t\u00e9, on les mangera d\u2019abord avec du pain, et l\u2019on n\u2019en r\u00e9citera pas la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Certes, selon le Roch, dans le cas m\u00eame o\u00f9 on les mangerait sans pain, on n\u2019en r\u00e9citerait pas la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, puisque le propos de leur consommation est de rassasier. Cependant, pour les disciples de Rabb\u00e9nou Yona, puisqu\u2019il n\u2019est pas habituel de les manger pour se rassasier, ce n\u2019est que si l\u2019on commence \u00e0 les manger avec du pain que l\u2019intention de les manger pour se rassasier\u00a0sera manifeste\u00a0; ensuite, on pourra continuer de les manger seuls, sans devoir dire de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction.
