Si l\u2019on a prononc\u00e9 la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction d\u2019un aliment, en pensant que l\u2019on voudrait peut-\u00eatre continuer d\u2019en manger (et de manger d\u2019autres aliments dont la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction est identique), on pourra poursuivre sa consommation en se fondant sur sa b\u00e9n\u00e9diction premi\u00e8re, tant que l\u2019intention demeure d\u2019en poursuivre la consommation\u00a0; cela, m\u00eame si l\u2019on s\u2019est interrompu la journ\u00e9e enti\u00e8re. Mais si l\u2019on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9, en son for int\u00e9rieur, de ne plus manger de cela, on aura d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 son esprit<\/em> de cette consommation\u00a0; et si, par la suite, on change d\u2019avis, et que l\u2019on souhaite reprendre sa collation, il faudra redire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction initiale sur ce que l\u2019on voudra manger. La r\u00e8gle aff\u00e9rente \u00e0 la boisson est, \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, identique \u00e0 celle de la nourriture solide (Ma\u00efmonide, B\u00e9n\u00e9dictions<\/em> 4, 7)[7]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Il est des cas de \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9rivation douteuse de l\u2019esprit\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0: par exemple, si l\u2019on sait que l\u2019on a tendance, apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas manger davantage, \u00e0 changer d\u2019avis. Dans une telle situation, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable, a priori, de ne pas manger davantage. Mais si l\u2019on veut d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment reprendre sa consommation, on mangera sans r\u00e9citer de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Il se peut, en effet, que la berakha<\/em> que l\u2019on avait prononc\u00e9e au d\u00e9but soit encore efficace pour ce que l\u2019on s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 manger. Si l\u2019on souhaite, sans tomber dans une situation douteuse, continuer de manger en redisant pr\u00e9alablement la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, on r\u00e9citera la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction finale sur ce que l\u2019on a d\u00e9j\u00e0 mang\u00e9, puis on sortira de chez soi pour faire une br\u00e8ve promenade. Quand on rentrera, si l\u2019on souhaite reprendre sa collation, on dira la berakha<\/em> et l\u2019on mangera.<\/p>\n

Quand un invit\u00e9 pense qu\u2019on ne servira plus d\u2019autres nourritures, et qu\u2019il s\u2019est int\u00e9rieurement d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 ne plus manger, mais que les h\u00f4tes lui servent ensuite d\u2019autres nourritures, il peut poursuivre sa consommation sans redire de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, puisqu\u2019il se fie au ma\u00eetre de c\u00e9ans <\/em>pour tout ce qui est servi[b]<\/a><\/sup>. M\u00eame si le ma\u00eetre de c\u00e9ans en personne a d\u00e9cid\u00e9, en son for int\u00e9rieur, de ne plus manger, puis qu\u2019il se ravise et apporte d\u2019autres mets, l\u2019invit\u00e9 ne devra pas redire de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, bien que son h\u00f4te lui-m\u00eame doive r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction aff\u00e9rente \u00e0 sa nouvelle consommation. En effet, d\u00e8s lors que l\u2019on est invit\u00e9, on n\u2019est pas ma\u00eetre du moment o\u00f9 le repas s\u2019ach\u00e8ve. Ce n\u2019est que si l\u2019on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 en son for int\u00e9rieur de ne plus manger dans le cas m\u00eame o\u00f9 notre h\u00f4te insisterait pour que l\u2019on continu\u00e2t<\/em>, que l\u2019on devra redire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction initiale si l\u2019on d\u00e9cide finalement de reprendre le repas (Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 179, 2\u00a0et 5).<\/p>\n

Si, au milieu de sa collation, on s\u2019est interrompu pour prier, on n\u2019aura pas besoin de redire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction quand on reprendra sa collation, car on n\u2019aura point \u00e9cart\u00e9 de sa pens\u00e9e l\u2019intention de continuer \u00e0 manger (Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 178, 6). De m\u00eame, si l\u2019on s\u2019est assoupi, f\u00fbt-ce pendant une heure, cela n\u2019est point consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une interruption (hefseq<\/em>)\u00a0; quand on poursuivra son repas, on ne r\u00e9p\u00e9tera pas sa b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Mais si l\u2019on est all\u00e9 faire une sieste en bonne et due forme sur son lit (au moins une demi-heure), le cas est semblable \u00e0 celui dans lequel on \u00e9carte la nourriture de sa pens\u00e9e\u00a0: quand on reviendra manger, on devra dire pr\u00e9alablement les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions appropri\u00e9es (Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 178, 7, Michna Beroura<\/em> 48).<\/p>\n

[7]<\/a>.Nous traitons ici des r\u00e8gles relatives \u00e0 la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction initiale, laquelle peut \u00eatre efficace toute la journ\u00e9e. Mais en mati\u00e8re de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction finale<\/strong>, les choses sont diff\u00e9rentes\u00a0: si l\u2019on s\u2019interrompt trop longtemps, la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction ne pourra plus porter sur ce que l\u2019on a mang\u00e9, comme nous le verrons ci-apr\u00e8s, chap. 10 \u00a7 12, notes 15-16.<\/p>\n

La majorit\u00e9 des r\u00e8gles qui composent le pr\u00e9sent paragraphe apparaissent \u00e9galement ci-dessus, chap. 3 \u00a7 10, note 11. Si elles sont r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es ici, c\u2019est pour mettre l\u2019accent sur une diff\u00e9rence essentielle\u00a0: quand il s\u2019agit d\u2019une collation informelle (akhilat ar\u2018a\u00ef<\/em>), si l\u2019on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de terminer sa collation, puis que l\u2019on ait chang\u00e9 d\u2019avis, on devra redire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction initiale. Quand on fait un repas accompagn\u00e9 de pain (ce dont il est question au chapitre 3), les Richonim sont en revanche partag\u00e9s\u00a0: la d\u00e9cision d\u2019achever son repas doit-elle \u00eatre pleinement consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une d\u00e9rivation de l\u2019esprit (hess\u00e9a\u2018h hada\u2018at<\/em>)\u00a0? De m\u00eame, le cas dans lequel on \u00ab\u00a0fixe\u00a0\u00bb son repas sur des aliments qui ne sont pas du pain est discut\u00e9 (Peri M\u00e9gadim<\/em>, B\u00e9our Halakha<\/em> 179, 1 \u05d3\u00a0\u00bb\u05d4 \u05d0\u05dd).
