Mais si l\u2019on a mang\u00e9 son <em>kaza\u00eft<\/em> en davantage de temps, on ne consid\u00e8re pas qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse l\u00e0 d\u2019une seule et m\u00eame consommation\u00a0; on ne r\u00e9citera donc pas sur elle de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction finale.<\/p>\n<p>Le <em>pras<\/em>, demi-miche, est la quantit\u00e9 de pain qu\u2019il \u00e9tait d\u2019usage de manger, jadis, au cours d\u2019un repas. Simplement, un doute est apparu quant au nombre de minutes n\u00e9cessaires pour qu\u2019un homme moyen mange cette mesure de \u00ab\u00a0demi-miche\u00a0\u00bb. Selon les tenants de l\u2019\u00e9valuation la plus longue, il y faut neuf minutes\u00a0; pour les tenants de l\u2019\u00e9valuation la plus courte, trois minutes. En pratique, il est bon de terminer la consommation de son <em>kaza\u00eft<\/em> en quatre minutes. Cependant, m\u00eame si l\u2019on a mang\u00e9 un <em>kaza\u00eft <\/em>(volume de la moiti\u00e9 d\u2019un \u0153uf) en sept minutes, on devra tout de m\u00eame r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction finale. En effet, la mesure d\u2019<em>akhilat pras <\/em>a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finie d\u2019apr\u00e8s la majorit\u00e9 des gens\u00a0; or, puisque bon nombre de personnes mangent la mesure d\u2019une demi-miche en sept minutes environ, ce d\u00e9lai est pertinent en halakha<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref10_8\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn10_8\">[8]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<div><a id=\"_te01ftn10_8\" href=\"#_te01ftnref10_8\">[8]<\/a>. <em>Pras<\/em> veut dire moiti\u00e9, en aram\u00e9en. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque des Sages du Talmud, on avait l\u2019habitude de prendre deux repas par jour, et l\u2019on cuisait \u00e0 cet effet une miche de pain, qui suffisait pour les deux repas. La mesure d\u2019<em>akhilat pras <\/em>est donc le temps que prend \u00e0 un homme moyen la consommation de la moiti\u00e9 d\u2019une telle miche. En d\u2019autres termes, c\u2019est le temps n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la consommation du pain que l\u2019on a l\u2019habitude de manger au cours d\u2019un repas. Simplement, les Tanna\u00efm sont partag\u00e9s (en <em>\u2018Erouvin<\/em> 82b), ainsi que les Richonim, quant \u00e0 la mesure exacte de cette demi-miche. Selon Rachi, le <em>pras <\/em>\u00e9quivaut au volume de quatre \u0153ufs\u00a0; selon Ma\u00efmonide, de trois \u0153ufs. Dans son dernier \u00e9tat, la halakha veut que, lorsque la r\u00e8gle consid\u00e9r\u00e9e est de rang toranique, on soit rigoureux, tandis que l\u2019on est indulgent quand la r\u00e8gle est rabbinique (cf. <em>Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 409, 7\u00a0; 618, 7\u00a0; <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 612, 8). En mati\u00e8re de b\u00e9n\u00e9diction \u2013 o\u00f9 l\u2019on a pour principe d\u2019\u00eatre indulgent en cas de doute \u2013 l\u2019\u00e9valuation se base sur un volume de trois \u0153ufs (<em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 210, 1). En prenant pour r\u00e9f\u00e9rences nos minutes\u00a0: certains estiment que cette dur\u00e9e est de 9 minutes (<em>\u2018Hatam Sofer <\/em>6, 16). D\u2019autres parlent de 8 minutes (Rabbi Chn\u00e9our Zalman de Lyadi\u00a0; <em>Sd\u00e9 \u2018H\u00e9med<\/em>)\u00a0; d\u2019autres encore de 7 minutes et demie (<em>Bikour\u00e9 Ya\u2018aqov\u00a0<\/em>; <em>Mo\u2018ed Lekhol \u2018Ha\u00ef<\/em> 20, 33\u00a0; <em>\u2018Aroukh Laner<\/em>, <em>Souka<\/em> 639, 13\u00a0; <em>Melamed Leho\u2018il<\/em>, <em>Ora\u2018h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> 113, 5\u00a0; <em>Pit\u2018ha Zouta <\/em>639, 2)\u00a0; de 7 minutes (Rav Frank au nom du Rav Yits\u2018haq El\u2018hanan de Kovno)\u00a0; de 6 \u00e0 7 minutes (<em>Ts\u00e9ma\u2018h Ts\u00e9deq<\/em>)\u00a0; de 5 minutes (d\u2019autres auteurs au nom du Rav de Kovno). D\u2019autres encore estiment qu\u2019il faut pousser la rigueur jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4 minutes (Rabbi Ha\u00efm Naeh), 3 \u00e0 4 minutes (<em>\u2018Aroukh Hachoul\u2018han <\/em>202, 8), 3 minutes (<em>\u2018Hazon Ich\u00a0<\/em>; <em>Igrot Moch\u00e9, Ora\u2018h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> IV, 41), 2 minutes (<em>Ch\u00e9vet Sofer<\/em>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bien qu\u2019a priori il soit bon d\u2019achever son <em>kaza\u00eft<\/em> en quatre minutes, il semble en pratique que, d\u00e8s lors qu\u2019on l\u2019a mang\u00e9 en sept minutes, il faille dire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction finale. Il n\u2019y a pas lieu de dire que la coutume tient pour quatre minutes, car ce n\u2019est que dans les livres de notre g\u00e9n\u00e9ration que l\u2019on a pris l\u2019habitude de mentionner cette dur\u00e9e (cf. <em>V\u00e9zot Haberakha<\/em>, p. 42\u00a0; <em>Pisq\u00e9 Techouvot<\/em> 210, notes 10-12)\u00a0; cela ne signifie pas que, dans la pratique r\u00e9elle, le temps de consommation d\u2019un <em>pras<\/em> soit de quatre minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Il faut, de plus, associer ici les avis, nombreux, d\u2019apr\u00e8s lesquels la mesure de <em>kaza\u00eft <\/em>est notablement plus petite que celle d\u2019un demi-\u0153uf\u00a0; par cons\u00e9quent, si l\u2019on a mang\u00e9 le volume d\u2019un demi-\u0153uf en sept minutes, on r\u00e9citera la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Le Rav Israeli se prononce en ce sens. Le <em>Ye\u2018hav\u00e9 Da\u2019at<\/em> I, 17, qui tend \u00e0 tenir compte, en cette mati\u00e8re, du principe selon lequel on est indulgent en cas de doute portant sur une b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, \u00e9crit que l\u2019on peut encore dire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7 minutes\u00a0et demie\u00a0; on peut s\u2019appuyer sur ses propos. En effet, la mesure ne doit pas \u00eatre fix\u00e9e suivant une moyenne\u00a0: elle doit prendre en compte ceux qui mangent plus lentement, tant qu\u2019ils restent proches de la moyenne. Simplement, nous avons \u00e9crit \u00ab\u00a0sept minutes\u00a0\u00bb, dans le corps de texte, parce que ce chiffre est entier.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Il faut signaler que, selon la majorit\u00e9 des d\u00e9cisionnaires, on a coutume de compter le d\u00e9lai d\u2019<em>akhilat pras <\/em>en fonction d\u2019un pain ordinaire.
