Que l\u2019on soit all\u00e9 \u00e0 la selle ou que l\u2019on ait urin\u00e9, et m\u00eame si seules quelques gouttes sont sorties, on devra r\u00e9citer cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction\u00a0; car si ces gouttes s\u2019\u00e9taient accumul\u00e9es dans le corps sans possibilit\u00e9 de sortir, on en subirait le dommage (<em>Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 7, 4). M\u00eame si l\u2019expulsion des urines ou des selles s\u2019accompagne de grandes douleurs, on dira cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction pour avoir r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 se lib\u00e9rer (<em>Choul\u2018han Gavoha<\/em> 7, 3)<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref13_3\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn13_3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019on souffre de diarrh\u00e9e et que l\u2019on ait besoin d\u2019aller souvent \u00e0 la selle, on devra r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>Acher yatsar<\/em> apr\u00e8s chaque selle. Mais si, imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre soulag\u00e9, on sent que l\u2019on aura bient\u00f4t besoin d\u2019y retourner, on dira la <em>berakha<\/em> apr\u00e8s cette deuxi\u00e8me fois (<em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 7, 2).<\/p>\n<p>Puisqu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 tranch\u00e9, en halakha, qu\u2019apr\u00e8s \u00eatre all\u00e9 aux toilettes on ne dit pas la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>\u2018Al n\u00e9tilat yada\u00efm<\/em> sur l\u2019ablution des mains, celui qui sort des toilettes n\u2019est pas tenu de se laver les mains rituellement, \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un ustensile\u00a0: il lui suffit de se laver les mains en une fois, au robinet. Certaines personnes apportent \u00e0 leur pratique un suppl\u00e9ment de perfection, en se lavant les mains avec un ustensile. Certains ont m\u00eame coutume de verser l\u2019eau trois fois sur chaque main, alternativement. Pour pr\u00e9server l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne et la sant\u00e9, les bons usages veulent que l\u2019on se lave aussi les mains au savon<sup><a id=\"_te01ftnref13_4\" class=\"aup1\" href=\"#_te01ftn13_4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<div>\n<p><a id=\"_te01ftn13_3\" href=\"#_te01ftnref13_3\">[3]<\/a>. M\u00eame si l\u2019on a besoin d\u2019un petit tube (cath\u00e9ter) introduit dans la vessie pour extraire les urines, on dira <em>Acher yatsar<\/em> apr\u00e8s leur \u00e9vacuation (<em>Har Tsvi, Ora\u2018h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> I, 6). Si le cath\u00e9ter est dot\u00e9 d\u2019un bouchon, que l\u2019on \u00f4te \u00e0 intervalle r\u00e9gulier pour permettre l\u2019\u00e9vacuation de l\u2019urine, on r\u00e9citera la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction \u00e0 chaque fois, apr\u00e8s ouverture. Si le cath\u00e9ter est reli\u00e9 \u00e0 un sachet o\u00f9 l\u2019urine se d\u00e9pose de fa\u00e7on continue, on dira <em>Acher yatsar<\/em> une fois par jour, parmi les autres b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions matinales, et l\u2019on formera l\u2019intention, en la r\u00e9citant, d\u2019inclure par-l\u00e0 toutes les \u00e9vacuations du jour (<em>Nichmat Avraham, Ora\u2018h \u2018Ha\u00efm<\/em> 7, au nom du Rav Chelomo Zalman Auerbach\u00a0; <em>Tsits Eli\u00e9zer<\/em> XVIII, 78, 4).<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"_te01ftn13_4\" href=\"#_te01ftnref13_4\">[4]<\/a>. Les Richonim sont partag\u00e9s quant au fait de savoir si, selon les Sages, il y a lieu de r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>\u2018Al n\u00e9tilat yada\u00efm<\/em> apr\u00e8s que l\u2019on est all\u00e9 aux toilettes. Selon le Raavad, il faut la dire, m\u00eame si l\u2019on est simplement all\u00e9 uriner. Selon le p\u00e8re de Rabbi Ya\u2018aqov Landau (auteur de l\u2019<em>Agour<\/em>), la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction ne se dit qu\u2019apr\u00e8s \u00eatre all\u00e9 \u00e0 la selle. Selon le Mordekhi, c\u2019est dans le cas o\u00f9 l\u2019on s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 \u00e9tudier ou \u00e0 prier que l\u2019on doit r\u00e9citer cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Pour le Roch, c\u2019est seulement dans le cas o\u00f9 l\u2019on s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 prier, et o\u00f9 nos mains ont touch\u00e9 un endroit souill\u00e9, que l\u2019on devra dire la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>\u2018Al n\u00e9tilat yada\u00efm<\/em>. D\u2019apr\u00e8s le Rachba, c\u2019est seulement au lever matinal, ou avant un repas accompagn\u00e9 de pain, que les Sages ont prescrit de la prononcer. C\u2019est aussi ce qu\u2019\u00e9crit le Mahari Abouha au nom de Rabb\u00e9nou Tam\u00a0; tel est l\u2019usage, et c\u2019est en ce sens qu\u2019est fix\u00e9e la halakha (<em>Beit Yossef<\/em> et <em>Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 7, 1).<\/p>\n<p>Puisqu\u2019on ne dit pas la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>\u2018Al n\u00e9tilat yada\u00efm<\/em>, il n\u2019est pas non plus n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019utiliser un ustensile verseur. Mais en utiliser un constitue un enjolivement de la mitsva (<em>hidour<\/em>), car, pour ceux d\u2019entre les Richonim qui estiment qu\u2019il faut dire cette <em>berakha<\/em>, il est n\u00e9cessairement exig\u00e9 de se laver les mains \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un ustensile (en effet, les termes m\u00eames de la <em>berakha<\/em> se r\u00e9f\u00e8rent \u00e0 l\u2019ustensile\u00a0verseur\u00a0; cf. Roch sur <em>Berakhot <\/em>9, 23). L\u2019auteur du <em>H\u00e9khal Haqodech<\/em> est rigoureux, et exige de verser l\u2019eau trois fois sur chaque main, par alternance\u00a0; mais le <em>Maguen Avraham<\/em> 7, 1 r\u00e9fute ses paroles. Telle est aussi la position du <em>Michna Beroura <\/em>4, 39 et de la majorit\u00e9 des d\u00e9cisionnaires. Le <em>Ben Ich \u2018Ha\u00ef, Toledot<\/em> 16 prescrit de rincer chaque main trois fois, mais sans exiger d\u2019ustensile (cf. <em>B\u00e9rour Halakha <\/em>7, 3).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 quand peut-on r\u00e9citer la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>Acher yatsar<\/em>\u00a0?<\/strong> Des termes du <em>Choul\u2018han \u2018Aroukh<\/em> 7, 3, il appara\u00eet que l\u2019on peut la dire toute la journ\u00e9e. Bien plus\u00a0: si l\u2019on a oubli\u00e9 de r\u00e9citer cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, et que l\u2019on soit ensuite retourn\u00e9 aux toilettes, on la r\u00e9citera deux fois. Mais dans leur majorit\u00e9, les d\u00e9cisionnaires ne partagent pas cet avis\u00a0: selon eux, on ne dit pas deux fois de suite la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction <em>Acher yatsar<\/em>. Mais, tant que l\u2019on n\u2019a pas besoin de retourner aux toilettes, on r\u00e9cite la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction que l\u2019on n\u2019avait point r\u00e9cit\u00e9e jusqu\u2019ici\u00a0; et si un nouveau besoin se fait sentir, on dira <em>Acher yatsar<\/em> apr\u00e8s avoir satisfait ce nouveau besoin (<em>Maguen Avraham\u00a0<\/em>; <em>Michna Beroura<\/em> 7, 6\u00a0; <em>Cha\u2018ar Hatsioun<\/em> 4\u00a0; telle est l\u2019opinion des d\u00e9cisionnaires ashk\u00e9nazes et d\u2019une partie des d\u00e9cisionnaires s\u00e9farades). Mais selon le <em>Ben Ich \u2018Ha\u00ef<\/em> (<em>Vay\u00e9ts\u00e9<\/em> 12), on ne peut dire <em>Acher yatsar<\/em> que dans la demi-heure qui suit la satisfaction de ses besoins. Selon le <em>Ye\u2018hav\u00e9 Da\u2018at<\/em> IV, 5, on peut dire cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction dans les soixante-douze minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Les A\u2018haronim sont partag\u00e9s quant au fait de savoir <strong>si l\u2019on peut se laver les mains <em>rituellement<\/em> \u00e0 un lavabo qui se trouve dans la pi\u00e8ce m\u00eame des toilettes<\/strong>. Certains sont indulgents (<em>Erets Tsvi<\/em> 111)\u00a0; d\u2019autres rigoureux (<em>Har Tsvi<\/em> I, 50). En pratique, en cas de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pressante, on peut \u00eatre indulgent (<em>Min\u2018hat Yits\u2018haq<\/em> I, 60). Et s\u2019il s\u2019agit de toilettes combin\u00e9es \u00e0 une salle de bain, on peut \u00eatre indulgent en cas de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 simple. Mais a priori, m\u00eame si les toilettes sont combin\u00e9es \u00e0 la salle de bain, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de ne pas s\u2019y laver les mains rituellement.
